What we cover — and what we don't
KYCWire screens against the official consolidated sanctions lists below. Every response tells you which version of each list it ran against (datasets), and the status page shows publication dates and record counts live.

Entity types
People, organisations, vessels (with IMO numbers) and aircraft — as classified by the publisher. Aliases are indexed with the publisher's strong/weak marking.
Not covered
- PEP (politically exposed persons) — there is no official public PEP list; commercial PEP data is licensed separately and we do not resell it.
- Adverse media — we do not scan news.
- Other national lists (Australia DFAT, Switzerland SECO, Canada SEMA, Japan MOF and others) — planned; not included today.
- Sectoral and ownership rules — the OFAC 50 % rule, EU ownership/control criteria and similar require corporate-structure data we do not hold. A subsidiary of a listed company is matched only if it is itself listed.
- Export-control and debarment lists (BIS Entity List, World Bank debarment) — not included.
If your obligation requires any of the above, KYCWire is one input to your process, not the whole of it.
